Dedication
I would
like to dedicate this to my dearest, only son (who, from
the time he was a baby, has taught me the most important
lessons that I have learnt in life) and his mother, who
has been by my side through thick and thin.
I also wish to thank all those very special close friends
and family, who have inspired and helped me with their wisdom,
warmth and hospitality over the years, and given me so much
food for mind and body, especially my dearest sister.
I would also like to dedicate it to the memory of my late
parents who gave up so much for their two
children's sakes.
I do hope they are resting in peace, if there is any (thing)
after life on earth.
My
thanks also to all the photographers for the use of their
photographs which can be seen (often in bits and pieces)
on this site. It would have taken too long to ask each for
their permission.
This website is not-for-profit (as should be obvious) with
a worthwhile cause (or so I hope will be appreciated), therefore
they should be happy for their work to be used in such a
way.
Final
words
President
Barak
Obama's inauguration speech is an absolute
"must see" for those who missed it.
His
words are the wisest and most important message for all
the world to hear, especially at this moment in time: Forgiveness
and understanding, and the
"open hand" in friendship, not the "closed
fist".
This
will solve problems, even the most intractable. With open
hands from both sides, and forgiveness and understanding,
even the Palestinians and Israilis can live side by side
(if not together) in peace and mutual respect and understanding.
- Violence
just begets more violence.
- Confrontation
breeds more confrontation.
-
Positive thoughts produce positive results.
- Negative
thoughts produce negative results!
- Smiles
make People Happy!
- The
"Middle Way" is best. "Sit" on that
"fence", and you won't regret it!
Being on it means it's easy to jump into either field
and sample the ideas, opinions and culture of those who
won't leave their field, mindset, or "safe old houses"!
"Having
looked the beast in the eye, having asked for and received
forgiveness, let us shut the door to the past, not to forget
it, but to allow it not to imprison us."
ArchBishop Desmond Tutu, Chair of the South African "Truth
& Reconciliation Commission"
A
new "Prayer for Humanity":
Forgive
us, our wives and husbands, sons and daughters, fathers
and mothers, brothers and sisters, friends and neighbours,
for all our transgressions against you, real or imagined.
As we forgive you, for all your transgressions against us,
real or imagined.
Now that this has been done, we can sit down together and
calmly find out what went wrong, and correct it, though
we probably know already, don't we?
Understanding is really not that difficult, though of course,
only if we can understand ourselves.
However, forgiveness doesn't come quite so easily. Best
to do it first, to allow the real understanding and truth
(if not known already) to come out gently, afterwards.
Do not let temptation for things that seduce us, or dull
our minds, to lead us away from our goals, do harm to us,
and prevent us from making the most of our lives and potential
happiness.
That's
why it's so important to ask for forgiveness first, you
may both (think) you understand the situation or each other,
but until there's real forgiveness (sought
and freely given), you will not solve the problem (of course
it could be that just one side could forgive the other,
all the time, but that becomes unbalanced).
That person will then not be aware of any problem, so will
most likely get worse. It's best to beg forgiveness of each
other, together, at the same time, and then calmly sit down
and seek the final understanding-the truth!
There is only one truth, one reality... but perceptions
of this differ, and that's why understanding of other viewpoints
is vital.
Every
problem has a solution.
Best just to be open and honest right away, and then the
problems won't mount up, and fester, maybe even without
our being aware of the error(s) of our ways.
Don't
get anxious, don't get depressed, find the source (of the
problem) and there you'll find the solution, and you'll
get rid of the stress.
That way you'll be positive again, and you could have a
brain wave, and then you'll find success!
For
all our son's and daughter's sake's (for
all our sakes) we all need to act
now, and start afresh, with a new spirit, a new
country, a new world with a "Clean Slate". Why
should we have to burden our descendants with our
huge debts and the results of our bad habits
and old, negative thinking.
We need to start right away, to build a new and better future
for us all and our precious planet, with all it's wealth
of life and beauty.
Wipe
out the world's debt (as much as possible), and start afresh.
A new world wide system to regulate the world's:
- economic
system
- financial
system
- taxation
system
- internet
regulations, as Google has allowed China!:
-
to follow the laws of each country
- and
for each webmaster/website host to be resbonsible
for, and accountable to the laws of his/her country
A
new UNITED NATIONS which allows the truth
to be told, and therefore the right decisions to
be made.
We can go "FORWARDS to NATURE"... it's
the only way!
