The
Mechanics of it all - the Middle
The
Middle, (the center of balance) is where the real
strength, power, and real mass, is - of anything I can think
of:
any object, see-saw, wheel, political spectrum, the world
(the poles in terms of it's spin, or the core, in fact),
justice, arbitration, and even temper or mood.
It
is also the direct way to get where you want, as the crow
flies!
Every
positive comes with a negative, and vice versa. There cannot
be a positive without a negative, darkness without light,
up without down, heat without cold, and so on.
But there is still and always will be, the middle of all
these "dualities of the universe"- the BIG bit
in the Middle, which is defined by the two Extremes.
The middle is:
-
the
balance.
-
the mass
or core of the object, body, or position.
-
the calm, neutral, united way.
-
the best course between two rocky shores (a rock and
a hard place!)
- not
too bright (the brightest light -the sun, of course-
will blind us, and the darkest will do so temporarily...
until the light comes back on, or the sun rises...)
- mild
temperature (both the hottest and coldest will kill
all life)
- calm
mood
-
the best solution-which is a good thorough mix!
Of course there may well be some Physicist (or just someone
with more information than me), who will proffer some exception
to this, and so I reserve the right to be wrong, or possibly-
right..in the middle!
In any personal, relationship or National/International
conflict or difference, if the middle way is sought, it
should lead to:
-
the source of the problem, and...
- there
will be found the solution
This
is exactly what happens in courtrooms, relationship counselling,
arbitration, etc..
We need to have this "Middle Way"
in our political, social, and personal lives.
Only in this way can both sides of the fence (in fact all
sides/points of view) be seen/heard and considered.
Too much separation into two opposing "factions"
(which given the seeming duality of the
universe, does seem so natural - positive/negative, depression/elation,
yin/yang, up/down, Black & White etc. :
Both
of the above, can make any resolution or solution, so much
more intractable!
We
need to understand and "love" (be at peace with)
ourself(ves), in order to understand and love (be at peace
with) others.
If there is conflict either:
-
within yourself
-
or in a relationship,
-
between countries
- or
in any situation, or condition
Find the source of the problem and there you will find the
solution, and you will then get rid of the stress, distress
or mess.
What
is needed is to be able to put one's self into the shoes
of the other(s), above all.
